Obession by Jennifer Armentrout

Jeez...where to begin with this latest release! As with all of Jennifer's book, I loved everything about it!!

I thought the storyline was original and gave a new twist to the Lux series. In the previous Lux books, the Arums are portrayed as the "bad guys"; it was good to see a different side of them. Obsession also provides the history between the Luxen and Arums and their ongoing war.

I was lured into the story within the first few pages. Literally, "something" happens on just about every page...nothing about this story is slow or boring.  It has a little of everything: humor, action (lots of action), drama, and of course, romance. I thought switching perspectives between Hunter and Serena kept the story interesting. It became quite the page turner and it was such a pleasure to read.

As for the characters...who doesn't LOVE (drool, fantasize, or want) bad-boy Hunter. What's not to love. He's the proverbial "complete package", if you don't mind him being an alien. I'm pretty sure there were other characters in the story too lol.  I liked how Hunters characters evolves over the course of the story. He started off as just an arrogant @ss, but as the story progresses, we learn the reasons for his attitude and that he is capable of caring.

I highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone :)
